The Project aims to educate Adult Workers on using Storytelling as an educational and non-formal education method to promote the social inclusion of Adults with disabilities, refugee Adults, incarcerated Adults, adults suffering from addictions, and Adult Women through the innovative method of Storytelling.
The latter consists of the narration of ad hoc stories that have a specific function for the recipients, namely that of making a series of information and concrete examples of real-life available to the interlocutors that act as stimuli and inspiration for a process of reflection, self-recognition, personal growth, and development.
When listening to a story, our brain activates different parts of it, much more and with more intensity than when, for example, reading a bulleted list or any other systematic reading tool. For example, the part of the brain dedicated to language, processing, interpreting, and listening to information is strengthened and stimulated.
